INT'L. NARRATIVE SHORTS B (BORN LIKE A BULLET, BROWN BODIES IN A FAR SEA, GIVE IT BACK!, MEAT SOUP, CHEESE, SUPERPRIZE)

This is the story of a lonely, fatherless young girl who wants to be taken care of by a parent, but can’t due to having a neglectful mother and no other parental figure. One day, while eating breakfast, the pair hears about an incoming hurricane. The mother isolates herself in her room, leaving the young girl to fend for herself. The young girl proceeds to take care of the dogs, board up the window, then pray to her dead father.

Later that night, she cooks dinner and proceeds to call her mother, who remains locked in her room. There’s no response. The young girl is left alone to await the incoming hurricane.
