ISLAND SOCIAL ISSUES SHORTS (THE KIDS FROM CHUUK, BREADFRUIT AND OPEN SPACES, REMEMBER ME)

This film was inspired by the true story of Hansen, Cris, Tak, and TJ, 4 young talented men who have pioneered the way for the often discriminated Chuukees community on the tiny Pacific island of Guam. The Kids From Chuuk are not only winning the hearts of the people of Guam, but are motivating and inspiring their brothers and sisters to fight through the racial discrimination and pursue their goals and aspirations. These kids have started a powerful ripple effect within the tiny island. The sole purpose of this film is to transform that ripple into a wave and wash away the ignorance and hate shown towards our Micronesian brothers and sisters. One love. One Micronesia.
